Three Search Levels


 

THREE SEARCH LEVELS


Retained Search – Our highest level of service and, when urgency is at a high:

Investment is a percentage of the first year’s compensation with one-third of the estimated compensation due at the start of the search, another one-third is due once candidates have been presented, and the final amount is due upon the start date of the candidate. A Retained Search Assignment is used when urgency is at an all time high and candidates need to be presented in four weeks. We commit to finding the BEST top three candidates with proven accomplishments and those that are the Best of the Best qualified and fully-screened through an exhaustive search of the marketplace. We will work with your to have dates and times in place for interviews ahead of time. This arrangement helps you and your hiring managers to plan ahead so all of those involved in the interviews will be available to interview (if this is your hiring process). The packet of information on each client will give those interviewing time to review the person which will give each interviewer a good idea of who they are interviewing before they meet the candidates so that the interview process will allow more meaningful and impacted conversations to help in deciding who the top candidate is.

Preferred Search Agreement – When urgency is needed:

Investment is a percentage of the first year’s compensation with a designated deposit. The Preferred Fee Agreement is used when urgency is an issue and a search must be completed within a specified time frame of typically six weeks. We commit to present a minimum of two to three of the best qualified and fully-screened uncovered top candidates for interviews at agreed-upon dates and times. This arrangement helps you and your hiring managers to plan ahead so all will be available to interview (if this is your hiring process). The packet of information on each client will give those interviewing time to review the person which will give each interviewer a good idea of who they are interviewing before they meet the candidates so that the interview process will allow more meaningful and impacted conversations to help in deciding who the top candidate is.

Contingent Agreement – When using multiple sources:

Investment is a percentage of the first year’s compensation. The Contingent Fee Agreement is used in cases where you plan to use multiple search sources concurrently. We commit to presenting top talent as they become available and known to us. There is no time commitment, and service charges are due only at the time of hire. There is no obligation in hiring any candidate presented to you from The Charis Group.
